Cavan Adventure Centre, a family run business established in 2008, supplies numerous land and water-based activities suitable for all ages – team building activities, school tours, summer camps and specialized tours. Our Story
Uncover Cavan's Hidden Islands
Nestled within the Lough Oughter waterway system, Cavan Adventure Centre is part of the wider UNESCO Global Geopark and Ireland's Hidden Heartlands. We invite you to relieve your mind of clutter, be at one with nature and relish in a unique adventurous break on the magnificent hidden Islands of Lough Oughter. Renowned for its 365 lakes and abundant drumlins, surrounded by native birds and wildlife, Cavan will not disappoint!
Reenergise and revitalise your body on any of our experiences that include one day to five days of adventure or soothe your soul on a break of health and wellbeing.
HOW TO BOOK
It is advisable to book all activities in advance to be sure of a place on the activities of your choice.
All activities are not scheduled every day – the activity programme is based on what is already booked in.
For activity bookings you will be asked for a deposit on booking. This is a non-refundable payment. For groups of 10 or more a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total will be requested on booking.
** Please note: surcharges apply where any of the premium activities are included in a half or full day programme.
It is not recommended that water and land-based activities are combined in a half day session as time can be lost getting changed**
